So for the start we had an ready storyboard and a special client’s wish that the work should be done “in the style of a Tron movie". The request to make graphics in the style of the Tron’s opening is common, and working in such a style is quite simple and difficult at the same time.
It is simple, because you don't have to think hard about lighting the scenes — all the materials glow themselves on a dark background. And it's difficult because the geometry you drew in the scene will be exactly like you drew it and you won't be able to hide modeling defects with light.
